I have what I think is a simple DVD question:  When ripping/burning home use copies of DVD's, does each generation of copy retain the same quality as the original?  I thought they did since DVD's are digital.  They aren't like copying VCR tapes, where each generation is a poorer quality than the original.  Would I be correct?

Dual (double) layer blanks DO INDEED exist. I should know, I've used them to burn copiesbackups of Xbox 360 games.

I humbly stand corrected.
