That would be pretty sweet on a tactical wheelbarrow. And just so I have something positive to add, there's nothing illegal about mounting a weapon on a turret. Why would that be illegal? Just make sure that it's not considered a spring-gun, rigged to trip wires, fired electrically, etc. |
Not quite right. An electrically activated trigger that fires a single round with each single input of a human is OK. Using an if-then loop doesn't count. |
Even if it's only one round fired per button press? There are guns out there with electronic ignition systems (super fast lock/fire times) that are legal to own. I don't see how it's really functionally any different other than the button looks like a trigger and is on the gun itself. |

yes this is remotely controlled by an rc radio. and i just got of the phone with the atf and was told as long as it is not bull auto or an sbr there is no issue what so ever. he suggested a small length of cable connected to the trigger so the servo would have to release and pull again. i must say this by far was the most intelligent individual ive spoke with there in awhile and was quite interested in it. now my question will a night vision camera connected to my Mueller apv scope give my sufficient night vision say for 30 yards or more |
Are you even reading the replies that people are posting? If so, are you insisting on using "turrent" as a FU to them? You'll get better answers and more help if you change it to "turret". I'm not trying to be an a-hold. I just notice that you're a new account and don't want you to think people here don't welcome new folks. |

| didnt someone post a link to some kid who, with the help of his brother, built a auto tracking AIRSOFT electronic turret gun? I think theres a website for it too, I saw the video, he shot his brother who was wearing all white to help the computer process the move speed or something... it was geeky as hell, but somewhat interesting, I thought the kid was from Fla too... |

well, look at it this way, if your little invention never hurts a human being you will be regarded as a wiz kid inventor and probably get a job working for the government. if on the other hand you use this little invention of yours to harm another human being you will either... A) kill yourself as the SWAT team makes entry to the basement your living in at your mom's house. ![]() or B) find yourself as BUBBA'S best date in federal poundmeintheass prison. ![]() think carefully, your life and future hangs in the balance. oh, and spell check is your friend..........hear me? |

as far as hacking into it im not worried about because not only do they have to find the right ip and find the right route they must know the software that controls it to the t and have phone number to get a live signal to the receiver. and would to have an exact copy of the radio and transmitor with the exact chip and code. virtually impossible i say virtually cause there are 2 people that have a copy off the code. the bae should be complete and running in a few weeks and i will have a video. |
You haven't been around long enough. There are alot of people here with a lot of free time on their hands. Someone here will hack into your shroud of turrent and pepper their handle on the side of your barn. |
That's some funny shit right there. |
I was just kidding about the hackers. I was not kidding about my demands for video, which I see you have agreed to. This is good. I am really looking forward to the results of you work. |
Now, now, he specifically asked for only positive replies. Once somebody gets away with getting close to a negative comment the floodgate are gonna explode with a ragging turrent, a missive corrent, ah shit, a lot of water. Look at it this way, this is a hell of a lot better drama for a 21st post then we usually get. Hasn't even said draw down yet. |
YEA, thats what I mentioned earlier... |
