Got tired of finding socks with holes in them, missing socks, etc. So took inventory of all of them and set aside the bad ones. The bad ones will become cleaning/grease rags.

Here's the sad state some of them were in:

Holes in the heel

Stretched out at the top and they were always falling down

Holes in the toe

Missing the other one and hole in the top

Nothing wrong with this one except I can find the other one

I have way too many socks. It's sickening. They're all the same kind though, so sorting is easy.

I need to buy more socks... Every time I do laundry I pull out a few socks that have developed holes.

I replace in one fell swoop.

When they are all about worn out I get ride of them all. I then go out and replace them all with 1 brand. So they all wear out at the same rate and they are all identical.

I also have these plastic clips that I use to clip them together as soon as I take them off. They go into the wash clipped together and come out clipped together. No sorting.
