I need some help with a flash drive problem. My wife is in nursing school and she keeps all of her papers and research on a flash drive ( I just found out she has none of it backed up) And our dog just got ahold of the flash drive and tore it up. Is there any way that we can go back and retrieve any microsoft word documents that were not saved on the computer but were saved on the flash drive. I guess I am looking for some sort of cache on my computer to see if we can pull up a paper that she typed this morning but did not save onto the computer but it was opened on it. Thanks

Cache is temporary memory. It's all gone.

She just typed it today and the computer has not been started since then. Is there any chance it could be somewhere?
