Wife is going to an outing where they scheduled a stop at PF Changs.  She is a meat and potatos finicky eater, not into many veggies or spicy things.  What menu items should she choose?

Thanks

We did.  Can she just order a ribeye and baked potato?  That would work.

Thanks.

If not Chang's spareribs, then consider your wife part of the elite SOL Team.

Why?  I am concentrating on increasing my blood/alcohol content and did not want to waste drinking time in order to scrutinize the PF Chang's menu on line.   The wizzarddom of arfcom will set me free, I can feel it.  I can post some tittie photos, but that will severely limit the expert PF Chang patron advice...........

Heck, I am not asking how to make hamburger out of steak.

Doesn't matter if it has good sauce.  I am not asking the fricking question for my benefit, however.

CRAB WONTONS

Then

KUNG PAO CHICKEN (a little spice)

or

MONGOLIAN BEEF

Chased with her favorite libation.

Mongolian Beef or Beef & Brocoli.

It isn't typical Chinese food.

I don't care what you order at that F'n place, you better lay in a good supply of Immodium.

Why not just let your wife go there and look over the menu and decide for herself rather then make a thread about it?

Cedar plank Salmon, or Lemon Shrimp.  Some of the lettuce wraps are also pretty bland.

Mongolian Beef

Salt and Pepper Shrimp

It's Chinese food.  She's not gonna get a ribeye and baked potato.

If she doesn't like chinese food, then she probably shouldn't bother with PF Changs.  Maybe she should just order drinks while she's there.

May I suggest the lamb?

"WOK SEARED LAMB
Lamb marinated with scallions and sesame. Served with cilantro over shredded lettuce."

Stop off at Burger King on the way and pick up a Whopper and fries for the wife.  She can eat that while everybody else orders off the menu.

That always worked for me when I had a finicky boy.  We'd go to KFC on the way to the sushi bar on guys' night out.

I know other parents that do that.  Me?  I take my kids to wherever everyone else is eating.  They either find something to eat on the menu, or sit quietly while others do.

While their food is decent, the PF Changs in West Little Rock has a big sign at the hostess stand that makes clear their anti-gun stance.

"NO FIREARMS PERMITTED" concealed or otherwise. I suggest they find another restaurant.

Kinda what I was thinking.

Or you can always bring along some lunchables or ask the maitre to nuke a couple hotpockets for her..

You're welcome. It means so much for you to thank me. And I've also wanted to thank you for all of the important input you've added to thousands of threads. I've noticed that most of the input you leave in threads is highly useful...some over used image or  stupid phrase.
I realize that this is a battle I will lose, you being a post whore and what not. It will keep going and going. I know this because you don't get the amount of posts that you have by skipping over stuff. You just gotta post something and hit that submit button.

HAVE A GREAT MEMORIAL DAY!

I think she can order a hot dog or macaroni and cheese off the kids' menu.

Kung Pao Shrimp, sounds spicy but it's really not bad.

I'm rather partial to Phillip's Better Lemon Chicken (I think that's what it is called). Add a Dr. Pepper with grenadine and lime and you've got a sugar overload.

I am a meat and potatoes guy and I really liked their orange chicken and lettuce wraps (non veggie kind). They were awesome. I think the orange chicken was slightly spicey, but nothing unbearable. I used to be a pig pussy when it came to spicey stuff. Truth is most stuff is not that bad once you get used to it. Tell her to try the orange chicken.

Mongolian beef or the Honey Crispy Shrimp. Have the steamed tice and you have a pretyy innocuous meal.

My GF is a picky eater, too.

I can't stand it.

I keep telling her "you're missing out on SO much!"

Picky eaters are the product of parents letting their kids have what they want.

It's just not normal to be afraid that a freakin' chain Chinese restaurant might be too exotic. Watch out that there might be other work or social outings to other exotic places like Spagetti Factory, Taco Bell, etc.

I can (somewhat) understand kids going through a picky eater phase but grown-ups need to move past that. Otherwise they'll look like freaks if they need to order from the kids menu or bring Burger King. This can be a disability.

She needs to pick the scariest, strangest stuff they have and eat it and enjoy it. Time to expand.

I think I am the resident PF Changs expert here.  I would suggest the dali chicken, but it is very spicy and you were trying to stay away from that.  So I'll give a +1 to the mongolian beef or beef with brocolli (basically the same thing).  Other than that the northern style spare ribs are an awesome appetizer (dry rubbed ribs), and I like the lamb dishes, but the chengdu spiced lamb is better than the wok seared lamb.

Their Mongolian Beef is great.  Their rice, and most other shit on their menu, sucks goat dong.

+1  If Dad won't eat it, she wouldn't either.  That is how it went.
