Looks good, but it is on FOX and they ALWAYS screw up any sci-fi shows. I bet it will be a big hit, and but fox will play episodes out of order, skip weeks and hijack the time slot, then say it wasn't popular. Don't know why they bother at FOX. Spike or Sci-fi would be better. |

Yeah... Fox ruined Firefly and I don't remember Drive ever even being aired but apparently two episodes snuck in before they canned it. I'm pretty skeptical. I'm definitely not sold on their choice for Sarah Connor and the guy Terminator looks like a lousy choice. I'd probably have to agree... movies or don't bother. |

Resurrecting this thread instead of starting a new one. Would be nice to get an updated title. PILOT IS NOW ONLINE! http://www.eztvefnet.org/index.php?main=show&id=563 You'll need a bittorrent program to download it, I recommend Utorrent. I'm about halfway through it and I'm very captivated thus far. Lots of guns and action, looks like they have a big budget. If you watch this and like it make sure and let Fox know. It's scheduled to begin in February of 08 I believe. Hopefully they don't fuck up a sure hit like this like they did with Firefly. |

Supposedly the reason Fox is delaying til January is to keep series continuity and ensure the maximum number of viewers for the show. It's a couple of years in the making and a lot of folks have a lot of money tied up with it. I really really hope they don't fuck it up. ETA: Sundays at 9:00. That's a primetime slot. |

WTF is wrong with the world. They took the trailer off of youtube? It's a fucking commercial and you decided to take it off - you fucking morons. It was free publicity. I go to the official site and try to watch clips and, surprise, they want me to watch a commercial to watch their fucking commercial. |
If I were Fox I'd want that commercial off there... it makes the show look retarded. Ifthey are trying to preserve continuity, they should probably just reboot and start completely over because the whole premise for the story is teh suxor. |
It is continuous with Terminator 2. Terminator 3 is out the window. The pilot is much much better than the trailer. |

Watch the pilot. The point of the show seems to be them trying to figure out how it still happened even though they blew everything up. So Skynet still gets built, but we are unsure as to how. |

OK, I'm watched the pilot episode just now. Not bad. Still hard to get used to Summer Glau as a terminator. Freaking great plot twist at the end of the 1st episode... I'm going to watch the series when it comes out. And I almost guarantee you the decision to get the pilot out on the 'net was on purpose to generate buzz. ETA: Sarah Connor, btw, is played by the actress who played the Queen in 300. |

If it ain't got Linda Hamilton in it, I ain't interested. Besides, those 1-hour TV series (serieses?) on Fox always suck terribly. It's gonna be one committee's extremely broad interpretation of the original story, with the name as the primary selling point and very little more connection with the original subject matter, just like that abomination of a series, "Smallville." |
Speaking only of the pilot, you're wrong. I view T3 as where the terminator series fell of the tracks, and these guys are trying to get the thing back on track. There's more TV schtick, but the pilot feels a lot like the first two movies. |
I dunno, I thought T3 was pretty good. Not as good as the originals, but pretty good. Well, we'll see. I hope they stick with the original story and its world. |
Ignore T3. Cameron ended the plot in T2. T3 was just a travesty. |
