Facts? I have heard he has changed his mind numerous times on the subject of abortion. Is this true? Of course, he wouldn't have this info on his homepage, so I figured I'd ask.

You just have to keep in mind that despite his squeaky-clean Mormon background, Romney is a politician first and foremost.  That means you can expect him to change his mind on any subject if it means getting more votes.  A good example would be lifetime gun-controller Rudy Guliani's recent discovery of the Second Amendment.

I think part of the reason Romney's flip-flopping is so disturbing to some people is they expected better of him, given his background.  I knew him during the Olympics, so I'm not surprised.  Despite being "cleaner" than the average politician, he's still pretty slippery.

Since no democrat would ever vote for him because he's got an (R) next to his name, and neither would gun owning Republicans or many religious Republicans who think that Mormonism is not legitimate and, since he's not even getting near 100% of the Mormon vote, which on a good day is maybe 5% of the population, could someone explain to me how this guy has a prayer of winning anything?

Can I ask a question?

Why can a man not change his mind? I am not talking about John Kerry voting against it after he voted for change of mind...But why can a man not have a thought or feeling about something, then be allowed to be swawed.

Zumbo changed his mind about us not being terrorists, and in a heck of shorter amount of time then Romney did about abortion. And ARFCOM loves Jim Zumbo now. Once a man thinks that killing a baby is ok, he can not change his mind?

Dont get me wrong, he is a politician and I would trust him one bit about anything. He wants to strip our 2nd away even more. He'll never get my vote, or will any current republican who is running...There are none that deserve my vote.

I'm LDS just for the background.

Anti-abortion is a basic tenet of belief...I can't figure out why he was in favor of it in any form. Rather confusing.
Theres a lot of conservatives I'm putting ahead of him.

Also: So what if Al Sharpton didn't like Romney's beliefs. Romney knows Mormonism isn't for everybody. He tried to make to much of a deal out of it.
