So, I'm a little guy.  About 5'6 - 5'7 and 155 pounds.  I'm meeting some people for dinner today at a nice place and I needed to buy some black pants.  Nothing fancy, just straight slacks that fit.

Unfortunately, such things apparently aren't fucking made anymore.

Everywhere I went all I could find were either, cuffed, pleated or just god damned huge.  Most places don't even carry pants my size anymore.  But, if I had a size 60 waist I'd have all the choices in the world. The few places that did have pants that fit obviously don't adjust their styles for height, because the pants that I tried on are so fucking baggy I look like M.C. Hammer, (relaxed fit my ass, they ought to just call them "here you go tubberson, we loosened them up so you don't have to go up another size.")

One lady actually told me to go check the young adult section.

Finally, an hour and a half and $55 bucks later I find just plain, black, straight black pants at the fucking Gap.

From here on out I'm just going to start shopping the "regular sizes," buy size 70 pants and lop off the legs to make kilts.

What the puckered rat's shithole is going on?

Heh, I'm about 6'2" and weigh about 140 lbs. Do you know how hard it is to find 30" waist- 34" inseam pants? I've found 2 pairs so far. I'm stuck with 30-32s that get too short after I wash them a few times and they shrink up.

Dillards, Macy's, etc never work for me.

I couldn't find a 30x32 anywhere.  I asked the sales guys and gals (figured the guys would know, they were average size) but all I could find were 42x30 and similar.

I stopped looking at the mall for slacks/jeans a while back and started going to western stores.  Cinch jeans do not come preworn or with holes in them, and with many styles... And they even have khakis that are in the right size.

Yeah, same here.

I'm 6'3" and wear a 36 - 36. Try finding that around here. And if I keep losing weight, I'll have to try for a 34 - 36. Or get some suspenders.

I find a few 30x32s once in a while (read my post above yours). I am forced to settle for those. I've never asked, but I bet the sales clerks would laugh if I asked for a 30x34 like I really need. I'm forced to let the 30x32s ride halfway down my ass so they don't look like fricken knickers.

ha, finding a 30x34 is impossible.  (unless western store) I wear 34s with boots (cowboy boots to work with dress khakis) and daily wear.  Only 32s for shoes.

Finding 34x34 can be difficult as well, but I always manage to find some at Old Navy.

Did you try a Big & Tall or Men's Warehouse?
