I know they can put your name on a piece of rice, but give me a break.

"This bill would require that identifying marks, including the make, model, and serial number of the firearm be etched into the firing pin and breech face of a firearm so that these identifying marks are transferred to the cartridge case upon firing."

Exactly, putting privicy issues aside that would definitly make any fire arm cost more and god forbid you need to replace it $$$.

Someone needs to tell those RI legislators that all the criminal would have to do is to file their information off of the firing pin AND in doing so, would convert their weapon to FULL-AUTO!!!!!
