dude I just did gas prices back when I was 16 gas was 0.99 i entered the year 2007 gas was a 1.28....so why am I paying 3.15 a gallon???

Do gas prices, home prices, car prices...

Gas is amusing. I have to go back to 1975 (from $3.25 today) to get the "price" I was paying just 5 years ago.

The CPI excludes most of what people think of as essentials.
