Does anyone here use eMule? If so, how do you like it? How does it work? and is it peer to peer or something else??????

I used to use it but I stopped using it when I discovered bittorrent.

I always had problems with eMule.... Its supposed to be better then Limewire, but I always thought the reverse. Anyway these P2p things are getting obsolete. Its all about the bit-torrent

Until your ISP catches on... BT is very traceable if you don't some how make yourself anonymous.

I stopped using Peer to Peer when I got a nasty gram from my ISP. Its all Usenet now.

Another Bit Torrent user here. http://www.utorrent.com is my client of choice

www.demonoid.com is my Torrent site of choice.

As far as anonymity, I've heard that PeerGuardian is a good program but I'm not completely sure how it works. Any input?

What should I see for speed of download? Right now Ia m down loading 2 files one at 3.27 k/sec the other at 10.3 k/sec....sounds very slow to me

It depends on how many people are "seeding" the file. More people in the pool = faster download. I think the fastest speed I have ever seen was around 100k/sec. But I had about 700 people sharing the file with me.

Behold the speed of BT!

Normally don't get them quite THAT fast, but usually several hundred KB/s a second, unless it's nearly dead or just being seeded.
