I have a store in a strip mall in South Reno and occasionally we have little "problems" at the center. One of the other store owners was in today to tell my wife that her back door had been jimmied last night and the alarm set off about 11:30 PM. We've had break-ins before at other stores, smash and grabs so far. This other store had also had an attempt on the 12th. So, whats an Arfcommer to do? Yes, its good so I get to be a little wordy while I'm winding down. Cut to me at 11 PM sitting in my jeep in an adjacent parking lot trying to figure out which family memories to record over in case something happens. I see a new white Chevy pickup with some kind of commercial signs on the doors drive through the rear parking area. I'm rewinding the video camera and it slowly drives through and leaves so I finish rewinding the tape. Just in time to see it come around for a second pass. I start recording and watch it pull up behind the south end of the building and park with lights off. A minute passes, I see movement and I'm making the call. After a minute the back door opens. This store is owned by another Arfcommer btw. A couple of minutes pass during which I give dispatch relevant info and they let me go, but want me to call back if anything changes. The back door opens and a person goes to the truck, backs away with lights on, then turns around with the lights off and then turns the lights back on and leaves the way they came. I let them get out of the parking lot, then follow down the main drag. I redial dispatch and catch up to the vehicle in time to see truck markings are for a security company, "Securitas" that seems to be big in Reno. Aww crap. I know my fellow shop owner is buds with the owner of a security company and I didn't hear an alarm. My phone call went from "vehicle is traveling ----" to "its security, cancel the response." The vehicle turns off, I make a U turn and go back to the mall. I drive up to the store to see another security company very interested in my friends store. I realized something was FUBAR and I pull up next to the security guard to try to find out what is going on. Now cops start rolling up. Apparently right after they put out the cancel, the alarm came in. I quickly apprise them of what I had seen and they located the Securitas vehicle fairly quickly. As the story grew, the cashbox was found in her vehicle, she had her duty weapon, a .25 Beretta in her pocket, two screwdrivers for prying locks, and a lot of burglaries to answer questions about in her main patrol area in Carson City. There is my video outside the store, my friends video inside his store and plenty of other reasons she will be doing some serious time. Cops are happy, friend is happy and I'm tired and happy. It was a good night. |

I was about to clock out from my security job when another employee told me some people had just walked out the door with several DVD's. I found them on the camera, they are the same people that got us a couple weeks ago. Don't know who they are yet, but we'll get the sumbitches. |
The "a" in that sentence should have been "and a". That's why. She was carrying TWO pistols. The fucking BEAUTY of this is they smacked her with illegal concealed carry FOR the .25 she wasn't authorized by her job TO carry ! Stupid cunt... Nice to see a scumbag get caught for a change. I'm sure Securitas is proud. |
Uh, I got, "At the time of the burglary she was armed with her duty pistol, along with a small .25 auto pistol that was concealed in her jacket pocket." from that link. |
Actually, she had her duty weapon and a 25 auto which was concealed in her jacket pocket. Since she didn't have a CCW, she was additionally charged with carrying a concealed weapon. As to the looking like she was rode hard, I believe that a more appropriate live stock comparison is she looks like she has been fattened up for the slaughter. SUUUUWEEEEEEEEEEEE |

She had her duty weapon which was a .38 revolver, and the .25 beretta with a tip-up barrel in her pocket. Since she didn't have a ccw and illegal ccw became a felony in NV a couple of years ago this only adds to her troubles. I didn't mention earlier that she had a scanner not issued by her employer. In my mind she came prepared to kill if confronted, either with her duty weapon using the beretta as a throwdown if the shooting occurred outside, or using the beretta (use & lose) to keep her duty weapon clean if she was confronted inside. There would be only one version of events-hers. I'd imagine she'll get an enhancement for her duty weapon also since she carried while breaking and entering. I never interacted with her. All my info came from cops at the scene. According to another news story she had been with Securitas for four years. The cops said she had a clean background. She had been patrolling in Reno for three weeks, before that in Carson City and there had been lots of problems down there. The owner of the other security company, Martin-Ross which has the Chloe Belle account, used to be a cop and he said at one point in his career in the California central valley he hit Wackenhut so hard they shut down in that area for several years during the seventies. At that time they (security companies) weren't doing background checks and some of his snitches started giving up the guard racket. He'd pull over guards and check them out, they'd come back with felonies and if armed it was an automatic felon-in-possession charge. He also said that nowadays, Wackenhut is pretty good, about like Securitas. OK, you had to be there. I really have to hand it to the Martin-Ross guys. They only hire former LEO or Mil and they are on their game. They are also motivated and competitive. The part-time guy on duty that night is really going to hear about it-getting all the action- from the full-timers. The police were fast and being effective before they got to the actual scene, but the Martin guy was already investigating the exterior of the store when I got back from following the Securitas truck; I'm estimating about 6-7 minutes from start of incident. I was on the phone with 911 about one minute before doorswing and alarm dispatch. I'm really the weak link in the whole incident. I dropped the ball on sticking with the vehicle (wrong assumptions) and didn't really make as good use of the video camera as I should have. Good Police work made up for it and with so much evidence against her nothing I screwed up will matter. Oh, and being around lots of happy cops is lots of fun |
She looks like that fat asian kid everyone photoshops haha. |
I just discussed the situation with the other business owner. This "attempt" turns out to be an intruder, almost certainly this security guard, who entered the back door of the salon through an unlocked back door used by customers, hid inside and exited after the store was locked up and the alarm set. One of the hairdressers recalled seeing the security vehicle we busted her in "patrolling" through here frequently. ETA: I just saw the footage from inside the store. Walk in, check the office door and finding it locked, body slam it, move into the main area of the store, look for video cameras, (she missed two) and move on the cash register. She turned out the lights when she left. |
