I was perusing Biggerhammer and saw your miles/dollars post. How do you like it? Tried it out yet? It is a potential future purchase for me (a couple of the bolt models are the alternates--depending on the input I get), so any info would be appreciated. AFARR |

I haven't shot it yet. I'm pretty happy with it so far. Today I played around with a few of my long range rifles, swapping scopes suit needs better. The Barrett 99 has a Nightforce 12-42 NXS. The AMAC has a Burris Black Diamond 6-24X. The HS Percision TTD in 300WinMag has a Leupold MKIV 16X. The Accuracy International/Remington in 308 has a Leupold MKIV 10X. Stokes, Thanks for the reply. Now another question comes to mind-- I have a Nightforce "Custom Superb" on my Barrett M-82 (a pre-NXS model), and it is nice. I have a nice Hakko Nitropoint on my State Arms KC2k. If I get another .50 (a definite possibility), I will need another scope. Please let me know how you like the Burris vs. the NXS?. I know the cost on both, and am wondering if the NXS justifies the extra cost (however, the magnification alone might be what makes me get it). Thanks, and looking forward to a shooting report.
