| I have one of the scopeless Mosin Nagant M-91/30 PU snipers from Century (There real snipers, not repros the Soviets gave them to Tito in Yugoslavia as millitary aid in World War 2, but the Yugoslavians, or whatever they call themselves these days took the scopes off for some unknown reason sometime between 1944, and today for some unknown reason, and misplaced them so these are just comeing in sans scope, mount, and rail, but otherwise intact, there NOT ex-snipers), but I have no idea how to attach the scope, I can't seem to figure out how to get the mount off the rail, and the locator pins in the reciever seem to be in the way of the rail, HELP!!!! |

UPDATE: I got the mount off the base, and tried to test fir the screws, and they seem to be the wrong size!!!!, there to small for the holes, the threads won't even engage, they just slip all the way through, and fall right back out again. Also there doesn't seem to be a notch in the longer screws for the locking screws, the rail is unthreaded (should it be?), and the smaller hole is to big for the locking screws as well, and ofcourse the locator pins are still in the way, (should it be a flush fit, or are the locator pins SUPPOSED to hold the rail away from the reciever?) am I just missing something terribly obvious?, or should I give Centerfire a call on Monday about a defective scope rail/ the wrong screws? |
