Here's a worthwhile cause.  Non-profit, hires disabled vets, encourages sports for physical and mental rehabilitation.  I sponsored a backpack for $99.00 & bought a t-shirt to wear at the gym, then I signed up as a volunteer for future events in my area, as well as giving counter space at the family biz for literature.  Give it some thought fellas.  If 4 or 5 guys got together and sponsored a backpack it wouldn't hurt the wallet too bad.  Read the testimonials from family members of the wounded and see how much a backpack full of toiletries & essentials meant to them.

Ive been the recipient of their work. On my 1st deployment I got really bad pneumonia, and ended up being medevac'd out because we only had two weeks left in country, and the doc didnt want me going on the convoy to kuwait with all the dust and shit. So I get sent to ramstein, and literally all I had was a brown t-shirt, dcu pants, underwear, and boots- all of it I had been wearing for almost two weeks. The Army didnt give me a damn thing when I got to Ramstein, and these WW people came around and gave me a packpack full of stuff. I got a fresh change of clothes and a hygeine kit. Without them Id have gone 3 weeks in the same dirty ass stinky clothes while being treated at the hospital. I always smile when I hear about those guys.

I'm glad to hear that Belmont - not only did you just completely validate my donation, you just showed 5,000 Arfcommers first hand that a small thing like a personal hygiene kit can make man a big difference in a deserving Patriots comfort while recovering.  Thank you for your service and sacrifice.
