I can't get into my email because Outlook Express has developed some kind of error.  I just had this computer fixed, and OE worked fine before.  The fix was accomplished by changing the boot sequence in the BIOS, but I have no idea if it is related.

When I try to open OE, I get this message:

Outlook Express could not be started because MSOE.DLL  could not be loaded.

Is this something one of you smarter than me can walk me through fixing, please?

TIA

I have the same problem, and could not find a fix.  The google search on the dll returned a lot of stuff that looked scary to perform on my computer.

I'm tagging this one, hopefully someone intelligent has an answer that does not require editing the registry.

Workaround is that my ISP has a webmail feature that I can get my mail there, but I would rather use outlook.

But I don't have Windows 98, I'm using 2000.  Would the fix still be the same?

Probably the fix is the same.  Google the specific DLL file you are having trouble with.  Usually you just follow instructions and download the new DLL and off you go.
