Compared to those who write to boycott gun products over a stupid remark, probably not that many. On a side note, writing to my rep has done absolutely nothing and will do nothing. (Rep. Patrick Kennedy). I've written exactly 5 letters to Patches Kennedy with the typical form letter F-off response. The guy pulls a typically Kennedy move and crashes his car after downing a few Ambien and he still gets re-elected |

If you want to get the attention of an elected official, show up outside the office supporting your cause with a group of people holding signs. Videotape and post the results on the internet. This works best if the official is running for reelection. Politicians hate negative PR, especially before reelection. Do it with a small group of people to defray the cost of travel, and hotel room costs. |
