I let my 11 year old on my laptop to go on the internet.

Bad mistake.

I come back from the bathroom, He tells me he doesn't want to play anymore. And runs away.

I take the laptop, and notice, the whole view/background/icons/(everything) is rotated 90 degrees. I have no idea how to fix this.

Help?

Have you rebooted yet? Could be a Virus so do a scan right away

settings

advanced ....rotate button is somewhere in advanced

is it a tablet pc?
mine has a button under the screen to rotate the screen.

If you don't mind me asking, where did you get that from? An old German professor at a university I used to work at had that typed up on his server (although worded slightly differently) and I always thought he came up with it.

Right click and look for power browsing. If you find it, click and look for "just for fun", then undo power browsing. That will fix it if it is like mine.
