It finds the same ole junk, day after day. Is this the way its suppose to be or should i try a re-install?

Any help would be appreciated!

Quit visiting the same old porn sites.

And install Spywareblaster too. Make sure you immunized your system.

preventive maintenance...  porn sites are the worst thing to visit.  they will fuck your computer up something fierce.

don't click on any links unless you know what it is and that you can trust the site it will bring you to.

Elite--

Just to be sure, go into the menu/options and make sure certain flavors of spyware haven't exempted itself from being detected.

and just as a backup, another pretty good freebie anti-spyware program is lavasoft's Ad Aware:

http://www.lavasoftusa.com

I assume you are running some sort of firewall software--Zone alarm is pretty good, but it'll make you pretty paranoid when someone is scanning your ports.  Some dirtbag has been mapping my ports on and off for the last couple days:

http://www.zonelabs.com/store/content/company/products/znalm/freeDownload.jsp

If you have a solid hunch that malicious software/keyloggers/trojans are running processes, I like Trojanhunter--good simple interface and they have a freebie 30 day trial:

http://www.misec.net

...Oh, and stop going....

Thanks for the replies, i will do everything everyone suggested tonight and report back.

I dont go to Porn sites. Only here, i play three sometimes four on-line games.
I go to a couple other gun boards, and e-stores like AIM, Blackhawk, etc.

And i go to three video sites like youtube, filecabi.

Thats pretty much it. But everytime i check spybot theres the same ole tired 70 baddies, everyday! I immunize and still the same old tired baddies come up.

I delete cookies, files and history everyday.
I have spybot, adaware, zonealarm and two virus protections.

be careful with some of the comedy and video site.  youtube, metacafe, and filecabi are safe, but there are others that will load your computer down with malware.

i've always run two different spyware removers(don't try doing with with anti-virus programs!!! - they'll conflict with each other.)  one will often find what the other misses.  i currently use a paid version of webroot's spysweeper(excellent program) and ad-aware.

i'm very careful with my browsing, and i usually find 0 instances of spyware.  if i'm getting 70 new instances with every scan, i'd do a reformat and start fresh.  that's something i like to do every once in a while, though.
