[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Ipod Video question

Can I put MP3s that I have downloaded from ARES and songs ripped from CDs onto an Ipod Video? I've been trying to decide between a 30gb Ipod Video and a 30gb Creative Zen M, and the main reason I'd get the Zen is that I've heard that I can't just put downloaded MP3s onto an Ipod. So, is there anyway to put MP3s onto an Ipod? If so, how difficult is it?

I put all kinds of downloaded stuff on my 80gb Ipod video. They all play just fine.

So, which is the better buy a 30gb Ipod Video or a 30gb Creative Zen M? I was also wondering if I could put videos that I've downloaded from ARES onto the Ipod Video. I assume I can on the Zen M, but I'm not sure about the Ipod Video.

I'd go for the Ipod, its a little more common than the zen, so your likely to see better support for it.

I need an answer quick, can I put ARES downloaded videos onto an Ipod Video? I'm getting ready to head to Wal Mart, and if the answer is yes I'll be buying the Ipod Video.

I ended up with the 30gb iPod Video. I LOVE this thing, now I just need to find out how to put my downloaded porn videos on it.
