[ARCHIVED THREAD] - ipod

can someone help ? i have a nano that is stuck with the apple logo on the screen.
ive tried evrything to reset it via the web site(apple) troublshooting. is there a phone number that i can call to get directions on how to return for repairs?

this is the second one ive had problems with. also can a bug or something on my
computer be causing the problem?

any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried rebooting it?

Hold down the center button and the menu button for 5 seconds. (Maybe it's the center and the play button; don't remember).

I think it's center+play.

Just wait, the iPod haters will be here any time now to tell you what a terrible mistake you've made.

yes ive tried everything the apple web site has to offer for resetting this thing.

I've had the same problem with my old Nano. That, and it locks up on the ratings screen and I can't switch back.

Try plugging it into your computer and allow the software to sync. That may pull it out of its current state. Otherwise, you may have to let the battery drain.

Youve made a terrible mistake. APPLE IS THE DEVIL!
