negative. 300 win mag - original has a case capacity of nearly 70 grains. the 30-06 I think is between 62 and 65.

No. The .300 Win Mag holds about 16 more grains of 4350 than the .30-06 under a 150 grain bullet. The case is considerably larger.

The bullets are the same, though - .308"
