So I have Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002, and was wondering if anyone has experience with their new Flight Simulator X?  Is it worth the change?  I'm currently downloading the trial version from Microsoft.  Are the graphics that much improved over 2002, or did they just add a bunch of planes and airports and features I won't use?  I pretty much am only using the Cessna's, either the 172's, or the 150 I downloaded, as that matches the actual plane I have access to and have seat time in.  I'm thinking by only using the 172's etc, there can't really be too much of an improvement, because version 2002 is very good.  Any insight or wisdom would be much appreciated.

I bought a new computer to be able to use FSX and it still runs slow (and it's a pretty good computer).  I know alot of people are in the flightsim community are pissed off at MS for how complex it is.  You're still using FS2002, try upgrading to FS2004.  It's much better than 2002, and I think there's still going to be alot of downloads made for it.  I'll be sticking to FS2004 for online flying for now.

I may have to give 2004 a look then.  The consensus of the reviews on the web for FSX seem to be that you need a computer that was built in 2008 to run it fast enough and to enjoy all the features.  I have a pretty fast computer, but I don't have Vista, which is also recomended.  The 800 meg sample of FSX finished downloading, I will have to give it a look-see.
