i was talking to a guy yesterday that said he was looking for a double barrell pump action shotgun. has one ever been made? for the record this guy is generally a firearms idiot. He hunts with a "MATCH GRADE" sks and claims monarch ammo is the most accurate ammunition ever produced. i know the practicallity of a DB pump would be pretty low. Just wondering if one was ever produced? |
well this guy was bragging about his "special scope" on his sks. it was specifically reccomended by sksman as the PERMIER soviet sks scope. he paid 199.00 for a leapers 4x rubber sks scope and reciever mount ![]() you might have a sale! |
i figured i'd just turn it upside down. that would enable the "tactical rapid reload" feature. |
OK, for you know it all guys out there, I suggest you look on the cover of the Feburary 1977 edition of American rifleman. You will find a picture of a french made Darne shotgun. It is a side by side pump shotgun that after the first two are fired you slide the action forward ejecting the spent cases lifting 2 lives shells which are chamber when you slide the action to the rear. ![]() There was also a 4 barreled shotgun |
|
Maybe he was thinking of the Neostead? It's not double-barreled, but has two tubular magazines above the single barrel, so it looks like it has two barrels.

www.justnikon.com/ doublegunshop.com/darne.htm It doesn't seem to work the way you claimed. The Darne shotgun is just a double-barreled shotgun with a sliding breech. |
Ah you have google fu huh? ![]() Correct, the breech actually slide to the rear according to the article. But then again, I have never seen one in person. Besides the real story here is special sks scope the guy had! |
