11/28/2006 10:24:28 AM EDT

Looks like an awful lot o' hardware to launch a friggin' handgun round whatever it is.

I think it's  FUGLY 76 if I'm not mistaken.

Both have the same green string around the buttstock.  It's the same gun, just the first pic sort of blends into the guys jacket, so the adjustible stock is not as apparent.

It's a goofy sucker, that's for sure.

I am going out a limb here and going to guess an Italian AG-M1 in 9mm. From what I hear they are pretty rare in the US

This I don't know.  But I think it's a russian prototype.  Note that it basically uses an AK reciever.

I'd like to know more about this. AK receiver, synthetic lower/grips. Do the bullets go in the pistol grip?

I like the stock, looks like one off of a VZ-58. Hmm, next build idea.

Not only was it a clue, but I really would build one in a heartbeat.  I've spent the last 10 minutes trying to figure out how I can get my G19 frame onto the receiver of my Yugo underfolder.

Can you imagine that thing, SBRed, running with 33rnd glock mags?
