When someone ask a question they are fairly certain they do not want the answer to in an open forum do they get all pissy, defensive, and "hurt". I always thought it a feminine attribute/habit but I see it in men now too. Someone asks for a objective and honest opinion then they get pissy and stupid when they get it, WTF? Maybe I'm too abrasive but I doubt it. |
I think it is because they are hoping for validation of their belief or point of view. Me, if you don't agree with me, I think you are just plain wrong, it's that simple

No hurt and annoyed are different. Long story short someone asked what others thought of her taking anti-depressent meds and someone (not I, can't claim this one)shared thier view it was no better than waking up and smoking a joint first thing in the morning. Needless to say it did not go over well. I seek constructive criticism and opinion to find balance she flew off the handle then not suprisingly had a breakdown. That breakdown likely requiring more medicating. |
