| My friend has a 1997 e-250 Ford Van. We are dealing with a flat tire (front driver-side) and are wondering where the best spot to put the jack is. The jack is pretty cheap, but when we tried placing it on the sheetmetal/frame to rear of the wheel-well, the body started bending as the jack started rising. Does anyone know the correct spot to jack one of these beasts up? We might go to the auto store and buy one of those cheap 2-ton jacks if that would make the job easier. |
