In a brilliant move, when the country was already divided over the war, the GOP chose to complety alienate their base with an attempted "amnesty" for CRIMINALS only months before the election. And in cases where you actually had a Republican running who didn't vote for the amnesty (such as Katherine Harris in Florida) you complete DO NOT support her (even though she supported you in the 2000 election) and go so far as stating PUBLICALLY that "she probably can't win." Then you have complete DIPSHITS like Clay Shaw who is anti gun/pro amnesty who you completely support. And you wonder why you lose fucking elections.
