Anyone upgrade yet?

I just did and am finding it to "feel" a lot faster and more efficient than the 1.5x version I was running.   Memory footprint seems smaller, and the per-tab "x" to close tabs is better for tabbed browsing.

I'm sure the geeks will tell my why I'm nuts, but I like this browser a lot.

Seriously, though, what do you use?  MSIE?  Fucking flypaper for every leet haxor trying to test an exploit.   I've got good anti-spyware and virus measures, but the number of "incidents" of detection have gone way down since I ditched Internet Explorer.

I use Maxthon, its based off IE. I have tried FF a few times and just didnt like it. Seemed "slow" to me. Pc is as clean as the day I did a new install. Most people dont have an issue with IE. But common sense has alot to do with it. But if FF works for you, thats great.

+1

FF2.0 seems faster for me too, I like it.  Have seen IE7 but haven't loaded it on my comp - don't see any reason why, with FF's spell check.

I've been pleased so far and the memory footprint definitely seems smaller.

I've noticed that it renders much quicker than V1.5.  I also loaded IE 7.0 and have regretted it ever since.  For some reason, IE tends to lock up the svchost.exe process and my computer becomes unusable after that.

There are some things I don’t like about it but now that Tab Mix Plus got updated to FF2 most of my complaints should go away.

i dont like the per-tab X.  if i have 10 things open i dont know where to go to close the one i'm on.  i have to go look up to find where i am across my screen and then go click that X.  i like the old way better where closing the tab was always in the same spot.

other than that no complaints so far.  except that i tried to load a .wmv from a web link and it didnt go.  so i used the "open an ie tab" option and then it worked....

It's free.

I like the All in One gestures add in.  Allows for really quick browsing.

Same here. I have also closed pages by accident when I try to click on the tab to read them; you have to be careful to not hit the "x" when you hit the tab.
