I honestly don't even pay attention.  My wife always gets me a new stick by the time it runs out.  It's like magic.

Usually two showers a day (morning and after gym) but only 1-2 sticks per year.

I posted because one of my friends said he goes through a stick every month and a half or so (~ 8 per year), and the rest of us thought that was excessive, but (obviously) he thought it was normal.

it seems like I'm going through about 1 a month...  so 7+

ETA: I use the soft, white, chalky Old Spice, so it goes fast.

There is no common size for "a stick".  A number isn't really going to be very informative.  I use these really tall Speed-Stick sticks that last for quite a while.  I just know that when I'm down to my last one, I buy another pack of them at BJs.

I really don't pay attention to how many sticks of deodorant I use in a year; all I know is that I always use one; my favorite brands are Arm & Hammer invisible solid and Gilette Clear Gel.

I can't stand the roll-ons and I don't like the sprays either.

I have never used deodorant or anti perspirant. In five decades.

Once in a while I smell, but not as a rule. I work hard for a living, so my sweat must be like rose water or something.

I prefer the gel type (cool wave scent), which don't last as long as a solid stick type.

Now the other question is...

How many apply BEFORE putting on your shirt(s) ON or do you apply AFTER you put on you shirt(s) ON.

Usually before the shirt goes on, if no shower in the morning and the shirt is already on then it goes on after. 97% of the time w/o shirt on

Not sure, never paid that much attention.  I use 1 every 2 months so I guess thats 6 (7 sometimes).


Had to switch to clear gel because that white stuff turned my shirts white and started to eat holes in them (it did it very slowly).

How can you do more than that?  Use multipul times a day?

They discontinued the stuff I use.  The speed stick clear solid.  I bought up several packs of 4 each just before it went away.  I'll soon run out and have to find something else to use.
