Do you remember your vows you took on your wedding day? I was talking to a friend today and I told him that I take my vows very seriously and he came back with what were they and now that I'm thinking back, crap I don't know. There was the standard until death do us part , sickness and health but I really do not remember word for word what I promised to do. me Bad I guess.

I REMEMBER THOSE DAYS !!! THANKS FOR THE STROLLDOWN MEMORY LANE! those dailys go away after a while |
Did your husband have the standard; "Thou shalt not covet thy husbands boats.", clause? (Usually in addition to guns, tools, beer, etc. etc.) Doesn't your oral sex smiley violate the CoC? |
They're not that big. More like this one: ![]() Hey way to screw up my Vows McNasty! *ETA* Thank you Ginger! Someone needed to get us back on focus! |

Not well. |

I barely remember anything I said, and that was last Saturday! It's nerve racking standing up in front of all those people. Luckly I had someone take video. I can review, or make my wife review our vows at any time.

Yea I have a tape around here somewhere too. I'll have to dig it out. I had it taped so I could see if my husband [to be] put "HELP ME" on the backs of his shoes [he didn't]. Thank you graywolf. |

The second time I got married, we went to the court house, and pulled our eight year old boy out of school to be the witness. We had set a date to be married elsewhere, but we were eating breakfast one morning and said "hey, why don't we just go get married today". So it was kind of spur of the moment, and we decided her son should join in the celebration. ![]() Anyway, I don't remember exactly all the "I wills and I won'ts" but I got the idea and we have been happy twenty years now. I do remember the lady who was marrying us said at the start "You do both realize that the institution of marriage is a very serious matter..." at which time we both looked at our son and burst out laughing. ![]() The lady gave us this look, but she went on with it and hitched us. |

look, but she went on with it and hitched us.
