Finally had a chance to go see my gun dealer and visit this SRT Cheyenne. It's going to be living at the dealer's until the paperwork clears, but I couldn't resist going to see it.

This is it mounted on my P22. Enjoy!

Also posted here but GD gets way more traffic.

Something tells me that weapon confiscations during Katrina were non-existent in his area

Yes, very well - you just need to understand how it works, break in the belts properly, find the proper spring combination, and time the auto-sear trip for your lower.

A ton of fun and cheap to shoot!!!!!!

Suppressed belt-fed 22LR ......nothing like a five-round burst and then hearing the bullets hit the back-stop.

This conversion is definitely not for someone who exprects to slam it on their lower, run to the range, and expect it to work - takes a little tuning, but well worth it.

very nice zack (and drfcolt).

I am picking up a P22 this week.  Sadly it will be un-suppressed until some point in the future.

So what does one of those cost?  About the same as a 16?  I'll probably never own a belt-fed weapon, but DAYUM that one looks fun for the price to shoot it!  I'd rather shoot that all day than an 8mm for 30 minutes.

Very cool!

About $1,800 .... if you order one and get in line.

Immediate gratification will cost you between $1,900 and $3K - that's what I've seen them advertised for.

Lots of fun in semi-auto, too.

Here's the basic kit (minus 2x100 round belt, 1x200 links, and bag of springs):

For the whole thing?  Upper, lower, can, and kit?  All for 3k?

No lower or suppressor - that would be an extra $13K or so for a factory Colt M16-A1 like mine and Gemtech Hornet suppressor .... won't work with a LL.

RR's can be had for about $10K and RDIAS for about $12K.

You can slap it on your $150 AR-15 lower and go to town, though .....
