I took some video stream [not sure if that's correct or not] off of my digital camera of my friend shooting my rifle.  It is hysterical and I want to see it my computer but I can not seem to get it to play on my computer.  It plays fine on my camera.  How do I fix this?

Do you have Quicktime installed on your computer?  I have a Kodak comera and it records the movies in that format.

I don't know.  The funny thing is some of the film works with my Media player and some doesn't.

I'll check on quick time

If you don't want quicktime installed (which will take over playing all of your video and audio!), search for the Quicktime Alternative.  It's a codec that allows windows media player to play the video.

I found it on my computer and it opened the ones that were working in Windows Player but not the other three.  For some reason the other three [which are saved with a thm extension] just are not going to work.  I'm really bummed as he was shooting Elmer for the first time and it was hysterical.  You can even see him get a woody.

Patty, it sounds like it's not the right file.  I googled .thm and one site referenced it as a thumbnail bitmap.  It would most likely be a .mov if it is quicktime, or it could possibly be a .wmv or .avi.
