So how many people here have seen that.... Went last night thought the movie was cheesy as hell however the fight scenes were bad ass... this guy may give ol Chuck an ass whoopin

It was a different kind of MA movie, that's for sure. I enjoyed seeing all the different techniques. The Brazilian Capoeira doesn't make it into many movies, so I especially enjoyed that part. Would be nice to watch in slow motion, however, I don't think I'll be spending money on the DVD. About midway through the movie it occurred to me that the creators basically took a porno movie structure and substituted the ass kicking for ass licking. Three to five minutes of inane conversation followed by fifteen minutes of ass kicking, and then the climax. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. In the final fight scene, I kept waiting for a little odometer-like counter to pop up in the lower left hand corner of the movie screen. Broken bones to date: 0001, 0002, 0003, 0004... And the blond monster dude, he just looked unnatural. Body was way out of proportion. Overall, an enjoyable afternoon diversion. |
