I was invited to the commissioning of the USS Lassen, an Aegis Guided Missile Destroyer. It was an amazing ceremony and I was very glad I had the privilege of attending. Anybody that has the chance should definitely go to such an event.

It is definitely an awesome event. My folks and I were were guests of the COB when we went to the commissioning of the USS Nebraska in 1993. The best part was the party they threw afterwards. Got some awesome souvenirs and some great photos.
