I cleaned my flower beds out and got nailed by a nest of fire ants I was wondering what snipers do to avoid them or do they just deal with it...

In his book, Gunny Carlos Hathcock said he just let them bite him.

I wonder if the ants over there are like the Fire Ants we have down in Texas?

If so, I don't know how he could have stood it.

Ill take a guess that snipers try not to lay on fire ant nests. I was unloading a pallet of sod and got both my arms covered by fire ants. Nasty little buggers.

Those fuckers are vicious!  I let one stick my hand one day and just from that one alone I thought I had just put my hand into a jar full of needles!!
