Hello, I don't know if this is posted in the right place so feel free to move it if needed. I am new to this forum and thought that I should tell you a little about myself. I am a National Guard Infantry soldier and I grew up around guns. I have been an NRA Instructor for Muzzleloading and a collector of surplus rifles for a long time, as well as being pretty well versed in alot of what the Army has to offer. Right now I am trying to finish my degree in Enviromental Conservation (I belive that we need to have some consevationist that are NOT hippy tree huggers and I plan to fill that spot). Thanks for looking, and I hope to get alot of good info here. |

Hooah! Welcome aboard. There are a couple rules you need to know that aren't posted in the CoC: 1: Don't ask what gun Al Pacino used in Heat. 2: It's a magazine, not a clip. 3. That dude that invented the 1911 is some sort of God or something. 4. Heavy 6 really IS a God. 5. You don't know shit about AR 15's. 6, Phot shop is an art form, not just a program. 7. Airsofters were put on earth for us to make fun of. 8. Carrying 6 Glocks at one time is overkill. 9. Tannerite is your friend. 10. JBT's are not. Tankerjoe: WELCOME! We got everything from A to Z here. We have something for everybody. We have members that are still in high school all the way to PhDs and MDs, and any and everybody in between. We also have many people in the trades and professions. If there is question that can't be answer on ARFCOM(this is shorthand for www.ar15.com), then there is probably no answer. But best of all, most of us are gunners. BTW: We have also quite a few female members also. welcome here are a few things i have learned in my short time here 1.)don't take anyone too seriously on GD there are some crazies here 2.) everyday post the topic of glock is better than 1911 or vise versa (you will make tons of friends real quick) 3.) almost every responce you post should be "draw down" "SIIHPAPP" or "dupe" (this is all you need for the first year or 2) 4.) members get a secrect decoder ring and use it to understand messages us poor mortals can't 5.) and last put not least have fun learn alot and then give back to the n0obS -blue damnit damnit damnit wasted post 223 on that
