Anybody been to one of their sessions?  I had not heard of them until recently.  Got their DVD and literature in the mail.  Looks like a fantastic vacation idea!

Good training, great staff, very low-key promotion during an "optional" lecture, very nice ranges.  You can't go wrong to learn your basics there; pistol, shotgun, rifle.

Enjoy, and go during the cooler months!

The training is great.  Some of the follow up stuff (literature with special deals, etc) is a pain in the ass.

Try the free one-day subgun class if they still offer that.  That was a total blast.

You're a team members.  Do a search in the Archives in the General area.  Several reviews of their courses have been posted here in the last couple of years.

I took a 4 day rifle course there 2 years ago.

Very much worth the cost of admission.

The Tactical Chiropractor is pretty far up in the Scientology hierarchy from what I've read.

The training and lectures are excellent, the junk mail sucks.

I was a member, and I attended FS a few years ago.  All the instructor I had except Brad were all gone.  I've wnet there last year twice, one to accompany my wife and second to accompany my friend (I got to go there for free), and I cannot reconize the current crop of instructor except Brad.

1)  The school used to stress lots of basic marksmanship, and the skills test is geared towards marksmanship.  Last year, the courses and tests seems like it have been dumb down, but still worth taking your basic stuff.

2)  Their tactics and their insight to tactics leave alot to be desired, my advice, take their tactics lecture with a grain of salt.  I have been to several schools and have trained with and work with tactical entry instructors, so I know the difference.  The danger of flawed tactical instructions are it gives the student the wrong prospective and the wrong idea.

3)  Their instructors, especially some of their adjunt instructors leave alot to be desired.

Those are my opinion, and if you like, take it with a grain of salt too.

I edited my post 15 minutes before you posted this. Did it take you that long to look up Ignatius' bio?

No, I know Nasty Pizza's bio well...  When I visit forums, I open a number of threads to read them, and didn't get to replying to this thread for [apparently] 15 minutes.

You corrected yourself, so I can stand-down now.
