seriously, I wanna know the proper way to say 'mannlicher'. my buddy who has one use to say 'man-licker', which i always found a bit disturbing.

Well... it actually is both...

Steyr = St I R - although the S is most properly pronounced "sh" - Sh t I R - Steyr

Mannlicher = Mon Licher - but the ch in licher is said like you're clearing your throat. - Mannlicher
