Okay, I've decided that I might actually start wearing a watch again.  I haven't worn one in years, but with all of these cool watch threads, I'm starting to get the urge.

I've been looking at the FORTIS Spacematic.

I like to keep things simple.

Anybody know a reputable / authorized dealer that will cut a guy some slack?

Thanks for any help!

Fortis Fleiger 40mm or Rolex GMT... Either will fit the bill and look nice on your wrist

Nice clean looking watch.  Not sure where to find a good price, though...

Just bought a pre owned Fortis Fleiger Chronograph. It is now my every day watch. It keeps very good time. What price range are you wanting to be in?

I like my pocketwatch. I'd much rather have a nice old antique one, but the Relic I got from Kohl's is quite nice. The ladies love it too.

If you want something from Omega, Longines, Hamilton or Tissot I have an authorized dealer I can reccomend.  Another decent place is Alan Furman, but he's a "gray" market dealer.

I like the seiko kinetics or citizen eco-drive.

I have bought a few watches from these guys.
Fast shipping and a fair price on everything I ever bought.

ETA:
This will be my next watch from them

I really like Pulsar for the money. I can beat the shit out of it and they just don't break. And even if it does, they will fix it or replace it for three years.

Heh, they make a "military" watch so naturally they camo it green and make the metal all shiny.

Cute.

KISS, I wear a timex for my beater military watch.  And it's 90% black...not shiney and actually has some functions...of course it's not designed to please the females.

I thought cell phones replaced watches.

Geeze, I just had one of my Bill Gates moments.

Someone should make a wrist watch that doubles as a phone/camera/calculator/appointment keeper/internet interface. Maybe even download your favorite music.

Where do these million dollar ideas come from?
