Well, they happen to have wifi at the general store bere at the Riley Creek Campground, so courtesy of the National Park Service, here are my pics from my Alaska adventure.

The first couple of days I was here, I helped my friend and his wife clear the land for the house they were building in Delta Junction, then attended my friend's promotion ceremony at Ft Greeley.

After that, I rented a car in Fairbanks and headed for Denali.
The first full day I was there, I lucked out and got a very clear, rare day with Mt McKinley showing all its glory.

I went on hikes near the Savage and Teklanika Rivers, which also produced some awe-inspiring scenery.

Oddly enough, I didn't see a single grizzly bear while I was here, but I did see a lot of wolves and other wildlife.

These are Dall Sheep.

This is a river otter.

And of course there were plenty of caribou and moose.

I leave for Fairbanks tomorrow and then fly out from there Sunday morning.  It's an incredible place, with the real feel of the wilderness.  I have got to come back here soon.

Caribou, moose, 4 legged animal, whatever you'd like to call it.

You had to get your mug in there an ruin the scenery.  Id rather see the Caribou's ass than your mug.   Take more pictures, just leave your mug out of them.  Your penance is to take a shot of a hot chick.

wow, those are the nicest pictures of Denali I've ever seen.  I've been there twice and still have never seen much of her.

Hey how come you didn't invite me?  [stomps foot]

Well, I am tentatively planning on coming back next July, and I need someone to come with me as a hiking partner, as this time I plan on doing some backcountry camping.  But somehow I don't think my wife would let me take you.

Say, for those who've been there a lot, what's a good backcountry backpacking route for someone new to the Denali backcountry?
