Just got a Canon SD550 digital camera, and would like to buy a 1 GB memory card for it. Í've gotten all kinds of advice from my pencil-neck computer-and-camera geek friends. So I'm looking for a name-brand, "High Speed" (I'm told that's essential for movie mode) card. Problem is, if I search for "High Speed 1 GB memory card", there doesn't seem to be such a thing. Help me out - what do I need, and where's the best place to buy it? |
| Great camera, I have the SD500 myself. Look on www.newegg.com for a SD card that is one gig and a decent name brand. www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.asp?N=2010170068+1053107930&Submit=ENE&SubCategory=68 |
Just searched them. Nothing. C'mon guys, your reward will be pics of EB. |

ETA: SD is secure digital, the most common media for digicams these days. All of the cards shown in the links above are SD. |
