I just got a pair of Peltor Tactical 6 earmuffs... I actually read the instructions(bored at work).. They say not to leave the batteries in while not in use.. How many of you guys take them out after every trip to the range?? A good battery like Duracell shouldnt leak so why take them out?? Thanks I just dont want to ruin a new set of muffs. |
| Some gear queers go shooting once or twice a year and leave them sitting in the trunk, for those guys it might be a good idea. If you use them a lot and use a good battery they never have problems. I take my batteries out when they die and none have even come close to leaking or aging. |
