Paul Wolfowitz? Richard Perle? Newt Gingrich? or Richard Simmons? |
"Hang on to your ball caps and hairpieces, this is going to be monkey-butt ugly." |
I was thinking Bibi would work well with her, assuming she becomes POTUS. Interesting, no? ETA: Secretary Rice is such a wonderful--and refreshing--contrast to Madelaine Notbright. |
What don't you like about the Colonel ? we need a hawk like him |
That was a quote by him. I like the Colonel. Everytime I see him on Foxnews commenting on something I wonder if it's going to be monkey-butt ugly. |
ha! i thought the same thing! |
Gene Simmons

Work smart not hard.... One of the reasons Powell got pissed. You can't go in like a cowboy without thinking things through. You can not win a war without negotiations... |
Like the Clinton administration did? BRILLIANT. ![]() What's your policy for Iran and NK then? Or are you John Kerry's troll account, and have "plans" but never ever share them? |
I don't credit the sort of accounts that you swallow so easily. |
Since your statements regarding her ineptitude as a Secretary of State and a POTUS, please make equally clear your reasons why. I'd like to hear your argument. |
Dr. Rice has credentials and intellect which are impeccable. Your third grade insults directed her way do not make HER look bad. You, OTOH . . . |
So how does she integrate her "sort of pure second amendment view of the right to bear arms" with this: "You can't have in a democracy various groups with arms - you have to have the state with a monopoly on power." Was that said/meant only in the context of Iraq? I'm willing to give her that, as she said it after a trip there, but it still gives me pause........ |
|
By the way, I'd love to have her on the record clarify/distinguish her above remark by saying: "That doesn't apply to the U.S.; we're a republic, not a democracy." Seriously, of all the people who *should* know better than that, she sure as hell should. I sincerely hope she misspoke. |

We threatened to do something if North Korea launched the long range missiles. They did. We did nothing. We now appear weak. That's thanks to Condi Rice. She may be very intelligent, so was Woodrow Wilson. Intelligence does not equate to being effective on the world stage. She has fallen under the influence of the hard line leftists at the State Department, by many accounts. She is not acting in Israel's best interest in seeking a peace negotiation. Stop drinking the koolaid. |
Actually, we didn't. Of course, a link to a story about our purported threats would teach me otherwise... As Cesar Millan says, we only show attention and affection when NK is in a calm, submissive state. When they are yapping and launching (or trying to launch) missiles, the best thing to do is ignore them, or we end up just reinforcing their negative behavior. As for Condi, she is doing a fine job. A damned fine job. |
My opinion of her has waned recently. I completely agree that she is not working in Israels, the US, or the worlds best interest. This stupid cease fire is going to be touted as a big accomplishment. Meanwhile the jihadists sit back and laugh at her. |

I am hoping for a Powell/Rice ticket in 2008 Powell is a true military man with commen sense, and Rice is good, but could use a couple more years experiance. I think the irony of having a republican Black president and vice president would be comedy for the dems, since according to them all GOP members are racists. If we did have an all black GOP ticket I know they dems would try and get that tap dancing fool Barak Obama into their ticket |
Damn, Bruce Willis has really aged the last few years. |
Kinda looked like Red Foreman to me.
