| Well I'm new to this forum so bear with me. I just puchases an Olympic Arms CAR-97. I would like to know what's the best trigger lock out there? Also, what kind .223 ammo should I use with that rifle, manufacture-wise? |

Regular triggerlock can be defeated in 1/2 of a second. Think - trigger guard. Also, you can fire the weapon using a popsicle stick to bypass a regular trigger lock. I've done both, your kids can too. Doesn't take much skill or thinking, especially the popsicle stick. Cable lock is your best option, but a 6" pair of side cutters will snip that cable in 1 cut. www.sportsmansguide.com has South African surplus at a great price Winchester Q3131A from www.ammoman.com is great milspec ammo. Or the Federal stuff is a little slower but more accurate. |
