I tried a couple of the googled IQ tests but you need to subscribe to get the score. anyone have a good link for a good IQ test? I'm curious to see how stupid I is. |

I dont know any I trust, my consistantly high scores tend to make me doubt the accuracy of most of them. |

What are you hoping to see come from this thread?  We already found out [at my expense] that my Bloated IQ is in the normal category. Therefore I'm more likely in the sub human category and am capable of doing simple tasks such as typing by some fluke of nature. Like a Horse that can Count.

I always get about 140+, which makes me think its BS, caus my few remaining fuctional brain cells just aint up to being "Gifted".

It's hard to bite my tongue whenever I hear somebody say they just took an online IQ test and found out they're NASA material.

I purposely answered incorrectly and randomly at the tickle test (testicle?) site and still came out with a 77.  If I tried harder I'm sure I could never get less than borderline mentally retarded (<70). That's pretty presumptious that a mentally stunted person couldn't even try to take the test on the 'net, isn't it?

77 would be functional enough to use a computer, but dumb as a rock type of person. Not vegetable though. My wife's a special ed teacher, I get to hear all about various intelligence levels.  She estimates the average IQ of GD is around 65.

Tickle is probably pretty good. I was a few points higher than a "real" doc administered test I took 12 years ago. |

I took the test a couple of years ago and scored 153. I went around telling people I took an IQ test and I'm a genius, I just didn't tell them where I took the test. Only my roomates really knew, but I insisted, because we all know the internet is never wrong! That said, I want to take the real IQ test offered by Mensa to see where I stand, as real tests are proctored and timed affairs, rather than "open book" tests like on the web. |

Average IQ is 100, dumbasses. This link is interesting. It lists predicted occupations for various IQ levels, and was spot on for me. My IQ was tested when I was 7ish, by a professional. Then I was put in "special" classes.

I only found the internet tests to be a little high. Of course if you take several, your scores will improve. That's why I chuckle when I hear about some really high internet IQ. All it says to me is that someone took it several times or just got lucky. A 150+ IQ is extremely rare. I took the mensa test a number of years ago because I was curious if I could get in. I did, but just barely. Their cutoff is in the mid 130's. Internet tests I took back then put me high 130's to low 140's. Still, any IQ test is only a very rough estimate of intelligence. On a funny note, my wife is one of the smartest people I know. I'm sure that she could beat the crap out of me in an IQ test, but she refuses to ever test because I might beat her. |
