Yep, the DO sell lots of them, and it's a big money business.

Seems more appropriate to me just to wrap them up in cloth and bury them in the backyard under a rosebush, but lots of folks think differently.

I was subleasing an apartment from a friend for several months, and one of his wife's Himalayan cats died. As I recall, I used a shoe box and got her to the dumpster a few days before they got home. The box was from a pair of Bostonians, if that matters.

I buried my cat in the back yard, wrapped in an old pillow case.

My wife and I buried her miniature schnauzer in a two and a half foot long piece of 12" PVC with two end caps glued on.  This was a great makeshift coffin.

Word of advice it using this method:

Attempting to push the end caps on without allowing the air inside a place to go can lead to complications.

Our Cat, Black passed away last April and he now resides in a tin next to a pawprint of his and a picture.  We never did figure out what to do with his ashes so we just decided to keep them.

*sigh* I miss my friend

Nope, didn't even know that they made such a thing.

All three of my critters have been cremated, and sit on top of my armoire.

When I go, they'll be buried with me.
