anyone watch "Ghost Hunters" on the scifi channel? its about the only thing i can handle watching on the whole network.... and to be honest with you, ive never seen anything on there that really excited me. most ive saw was a chair move 4 inches in the top of a light tower i think, then a door opened and shut twice in some hill-billies house in New O-l-eans did i miss anything good, or do they just suck at ghost hunting? |
Nothing paranormal but still a cool show. They put off a good facade of being skeptical though. My favoritesa re when they dismiss it as a n electrical problem or mold in someones house. The stuff that looks sort of cool can certainly be rigged. If I had their show I would probebly do it the same way. The show I HATE is the British one wherre some old fart ALWAYS falls dow and pretends he is possesed and everyone is scaring the crap out of themsleves. |

I laughed my ass off at a recent episode. They're in the bottom of an old battleship that had been torpedoed during (I think) WWII and is now a museum. One guy has an Electromagnetic Field meter and notes "I'm getting some odd readings on the EMF meter..." IN THE BELLY OF A METAL WARSHIP HE'S GETTING WEIRD EM READINGS! NO SHIT!!!!

I've watched them a few times, what a bunch of losers! Every sound is a ghost, every insect or speck of dust is a ghostly orb, and then the faking of the EVP crap, throw the whole group together and you still don't have a single digit IQ...just a bunch of clowns acting like idiots! |
| I've been watching for a few years, and they definately have come up with some interesting things although they are few and far between. It does seem like they forget their "attempt everything possible to disprove" attitude once they get a little "evidence" of their own. This season's finale was shot at the hotel from "The Shining" and contained a number of occurences that are very hard to offer an explanation for. The lighthouse where they kept chasing something up the stairs only to find nothing was an interesting episode as well. |
