That's correct. Rifles and shotguns can be shipped USPS. And no, the clerk at USPS doesnt need to know what you are shipping. If you insure a package for "high" dollar amount, some clerks will get nosey and ask what you are shipping. "Machine parts" is usually a good answer. ![]() Handguns have to go through FedEx or UPS. IIRC, only FFL holders can use USPS to ship handguns. |
