I suggest that he go with a more well known model and maker like a
Springfield-Armory (imported) XD-40.

+1, I'd never buy some no name south african pistol unless the price was pretty cheap ($150 or less)

I'd be scared to shoot it. I have a buddy that carries some off world brand of gun similar to that one, and I think it shoots like shit, jams a lot, and just plain sucks. for the same amount of money he could have gotten a taurus or something. I suggest that your friend do the same.
